Big Bird Leaving Sesame Street?

It all started when I clicked the Google logo because its been Cookie Monster and Big Bird feet the last few days and I’m wondered what it is. The first article that comes up is: “Big Bird’s still huge as “Sesame Street’ marks 40th anniversary“. Well then, HOORAY for Sesame Street. I remember watching it as a kid and really enjoying it. The first sentence of the article is something to the effect of BIG BIRD IS LEAVING SESAME STREET. OH NO I cry! Not Big Bird. They can’t have a show without him?! Why?! Who?! Drama!  It follows with he’s not really leaving but sings a song about how he can’t leave and Sesame Street is his home!
