The work-life balance is something that seems to get thrown around a lot. I am in a spot where I don’t have children yet, we are just a hard working couple with a couple of dogs, close friends and family near by. We are very lucky.
There is just an innate desire in me to be able to do everything. Maybe it is the images from the past like that show women being able to do it all, to keep the house, the kids and the husband happy all the time while still being able to do the things that they want to do. All I generally want to do is:
But why can’t we do it all? There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to hold a full-time job, make meals, clean and actually do something healthful for you. Something has to give. In my case, the cleaning often is the part that gets let go, even when I have it broken out into easily achievable goals.
Maybe one day I will be able to figure it out, but until then,

I got a pie crust because I didn’t realize it came with a pie crust. You have to have a pie tin, which I don’t have so it worked out. Long story short, after all of 5 minutes of prep work and an hour in the fridge it was super tasty cheesecake!
All you have to do is take some photos which you never delete from your camera so when someone finds your camera at the bottom of the gorilla pit they are able to locate you and return the lost property to its rightful owner. Let’s see those photos.
