Fl vs. Damon Darling Verdict! October 13, 2009

On Thursday Damon Darling was convicted of the lesser charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault. He could face up to 30 years and he will be sentenced for that on November 10th. The manslaughter charge carries a maximum sentence of 30 years and the aggravated assault carries up to 20 years.

Don’t forget about the third charge! Darling had a third charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. This part was severed from his trial because the jury would then find out that he was a felon previous to this. If convicted of that it carries an additional 5 years. (Side note: he was originally on probation because he was charged with posession and intent to sell marijuana.
