Interesting topic tonite: Can you lose your salvation? Revelation 3 speaks about “he who overcomes…i will never blot out his name from the book of life” implying that he was once in the book of life and that someone can be blotted out. I’m not too sure. I guess I am of the idea or thought that if someone walks away from the Lord or falls away was never saved in the first place. It was mentioned that if one can lose their salvation, or that it is at least a prospect, it might lead to a works based faith…that if you don’t live up to God’s standards you might lose your salvation. I don’t know if that would be an all bad thing for the American church. I don’t think that it’s necessarily true, but a little motivation to live out the Christian walk, to live as true believers might not hurt. I know that this topic often divides churches, but it is actually something to think about. Another insightful concept.

Welcome to God’s grace November 13, 2006
So, I finally decided to blog. I always have a million things running through my mind, and often its hard to make them stop. I think about theology a lot and its implications, which I guess is good. What I keep in my mind, and should more often embrace is God’s grace. He has freely forgiven and continues to give. He is perfect in all things, including love. Just something to ponder.
